Some people who live near 107th Street and Holmes Road were evacuated Tuesday after a gas line was opened, Kansas City police said.Authorities said police were called to the area on a reported gas leak. After they arrived, police said officers determined that someone had opened the gas line to their home.Police blocked off a handful of streets around the area. Those streets were reopened just before 8 p.m.No one was hurt.
